TrailMapper

Most folks visiting this forum probably also see the FCC club website at http://www.fairbankscycleclub.org, and probably already have seen the announcement about "TrailMapper", a project I started in the fall of 2009.

This is a reminder of sorts. Check out TrailMapper. It doesn't just map mountain biking trails. It can just as happily store road routes, mushing trails, hiking trails, and so on.

You'll find it at http://www.fairbankscycleclub.org/Mapper/tmapper.cgi. There's also a few links to it from the FCC website, so you don't have to try to remember the URL.

Spend at least fifteen minutes with it and try to see what it is about. It can be a pretty cool way to inspect a trail that you are familiar with, learn about trails you didn't know about, and a great tool for trail discovery.
