Cleary Hill Climb 7.6 miles

Rain in town gave way to sun in the hills, with a dry road and temps in the 60’s at the Chatanika Lodge and 50’s up on Cleary Summit. The peloton worked together on the flats, and then split on the climb up Cleary. Jim Button split the group to take the overall honors and Tom Dale quickly followed to take the Sport Class victory. The Women battled it out and Corrine finished on top with a quick time to the top.

Volunteer credits to: race organizer Jim Button, chief of timing Maddie Button, chief of course and pylon positioning Barb Creighton. Luke Button and Andrew Walters provided athlete safety (sampled the cookies before, during, and after the race) in addition to timing duties.
