	Hill's Hill Climb -- June 27th, 2002 -- 3 miles?

What would cause perfectly normal people to turn a quiet Fairbanks summer
evening into a grueling test of strength?  The Fairbanks Cycle Club and
its "Hill's Mountain Bike Hill Climb."

On Thursday evening, 11 riders came out to test their riding and
cardio-vascular skills by racing up the Equinox Marathon race course on
Ester Dome.  The race continued with an off-road loop around the radio
towers, and finished with a return to the Ester Dome alder chute made
famous in many Fairbanks running races.  The race results are as follows:
