EDWARD JONES POINTS SERIES -- SUMMIT HILL CLIMB
     Summit Hill Climb -- June 18th, 2009 -- 2 miles


Tyson "holy smokes he's already here" Flaharaty stormed up the hill in 
8:49 leaving no room for discussion about who was king of this 
particular mountain last night. Jim Button and Serguy Streltsov rounded 
out the expert class with times of 10:16 and 11:08:44 respectively.

Womens class winner Heather Best was pipped by Serguy at the line and 
recieved a time of 11:08:73. The womens class was rounded out by Melissa 
Lewis finishing in 11:47 and Barb Creighton posting a 15:24.

In the mens Sport/Master class Tom Dale(11:52) bested Rob Todd(12:44) 
and Larry Hodges(12:51) rolled in a close 3rd. Jay "I can't believe you 
did that on a mountain bike" Baxter rolled in 4th with a respectable 
time of 13:15.

Your friendly race director Erik "I hate hills" Brunner sacrificed what 
was probably his best and only chance at a podium in a hill climb event 
to host. ( Note to self: Schedule another hill climb the week of the 
Kluane lake ride next year.)

Larry Hodges,Tyson Flaharaty and Heather Best all supplied much 
appreciated volunteer race event staff.

Next time eat more post race cookies, it might give me an eighth of a chance next year
