Once again it’s that time of year for the infamous WOW (Women on Wheels) Butterfly Ride. This is a fun (!) hilly ride.
*When:* Wednesday August 15, 2018 6:00 PM *Where:* Musher’s Hall *What**:* This is the only WOW ride where we invite SOW’s (Scum on Wheels and Spouses on Wheels), COWs (Children on Wheels) and any other riders that want to ride with us. We ride up and down 4 hills – Summit, Skyline, Skyridge, McGrath – like the 4 wings on a Butterfly, hence the name! 24 miles, 2800 feet elevation gain. You have to be an FCC member (you can get a one day membership) for insurance purposes and you have to wear a helmet. Some like to hammer this ride and some don’t. Ride your own pace or try to Strava the hills. Ride all 4 hills or just do a couple. I’ll have cue sheets so you know where to go. *Why:* Why not? And there may be cookies at the end, too!
