Hello all,
We’re looking for FCC members who would be willing to lead a road, gravel, or mountain bike ride. We got several great social rides each week ( www.fairbankscycleclub.org/rides/), but these don’t always fit into everyone’s schedule or riding ability. We’d like to offer rides that are different from what we’re already offering.
Would you be willing to lead a ride sometime this summer? Where you go, level of ability, how long – it’s all up to you. If you’re willing to lead a ride, we’ll do the publicity and offer any advice on how to do it. We have two requirements: You and everyone on the ride needs to wear a helmet and be an FCC member (www.fairbankscycleclub.org/membership/) – we have one-day memberships if needed.
Having more group rides can do at least two big things: 1) Help to get more people out exercising and 2) Introduce people to new places to ride and new riding companions.
