A reminder that there will be a public meeting Monday evening regarding a proposal to improve a 7-mile loop trail in the Rosie Creek area of the Tanana Valley State Forest.
The meeting will be held 7-8pm at the Potter Road Fire Station (3805 Potter Road).
This proposal is modest — improved trailhead parking, better signage, interpretive signs, and maintenance of forestry roads — but state forestry is open to other ideas for trails in that area of the state forest. This could include improving existing roads and trails, and building new trails for a variety of activities.
