Is anyone interested in leading an FCC fatbike tour in the next month or so? These can be as long or short, difficult or easy, as you want. There are three basic requirements:
– Everyone on the ride needs to be a member of the Fairbanks Cycle Club ( www.fairbankscycleclub.org/membership/) – Everyone needs to wear a helmet (insurance purposes) – You gotta obey the rules of the road (if your ride takes you on one)
If you are game, I can get the word out. I’ll need the following info (please give me at least two days lead time):

Short route description:
Estimated skill/fitness level needed:
*Such as beginner, intermediate, advanced. Just take your best guess on this one. You can do separate levels for skill and fitness, if appropriate. *
A day-of-the-ride cancel temperature and temperature website:
– *“Temperature website” is whatever you want to use for determining a cancel temperature. Also, it would be good to set a time. For example: The ride will be canceled if the temperature is 10F below or colder at 8am on the NOAA Fairbanks website: forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-147.761&lat=64.837#.W_GbVpNKgq8 <forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-147.761&lat=64.837#.W_GbVpNKgq8> * – *Or just say “No cancel temperature” if that’s the case. *
