*SENATE PASSES GREAT AMERICAN OUTDOORS ACT*Amid a lot of grim news, something to celebrate for people who enjoy outdoor recreation on public lands!
According to Lee Hart, executive director of the Alaska Outdoor Alliance:
“The House gets it next where smooth sailing is expected. Then it goes to the President’s desk where he has, in at least one Tweet, indicated he would sign it.”
Share from PeopleForBikes.org Thanks to the leadership of Senator Cory Gardner & Senator Joe Manchin III for leading the charge on the #GreatAmericanOutdoorsAct. Curious about what this means for bikes? Check out our blog for more information.

*Note: The Great American Outdoors Act, one of the items in this advocacy campaign, passed the Senate, but there are other pieces of as-yet unpassed legislation included in this post.* Shared post from:
Adventure Cycling Association If you want safer biking and walking infrastructure, now is the time to tell Congress. Take action and ask your representatives for funding for active transportation.
