Shared from: Rachael Kvapil Aug 24 Well, I headed in the direction of Healy yesterday. Didn’t quite make it the full 100 miles. I only recorded 88, but actually went 92 miles (I forgot to turn on my watch after encountering a serious car accident on the highway). I pushed myself through 10 miles of serious headwinds before I started worrying a out my left shoulder and right knee. Thankfully, Felipe and friends were in the vicinity to collect me. Not bad for being seriously undertrained for this kind of ride. Next year I’ll make it all the way.
