The race starts from Mushers Hall at 1 PM and will last until 3 – 4 PM on all of those days. We will be blocking some of the access to the ADMA and Creamers Field trails which make up the race course. PLEASE do not remove the trail blocks and stay off the trail during race times.
Trail grooming will be happening after 6 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. If you would like to get up close and personal, there are some fabulous places along the trail to watch the race safely – they are identified on this handy map! alaskadogmushers.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Where-to-Watch-the-2022-Onac.pdf

*FAST PLANNING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PLAN COMMENT*FAST Planning does a lot to advance cycling/pedestrian infrastructure in Fairbanks. As a governmental organization, it needs to have a clear plan of how it engages with the public. This is that plan. If you care about cycling/pedestrian infrastructure in Fairbanks, take a look at the plan and then submit your comments. Comment deadline is April 17.

We have provided 2 physical copies of the Draft Public Participation Plan (PPP) to the Noel Wien Library, as well as some paper comment forms. This form of participation is a great option for someone who doesn’t have a strong internet connection or would just rather get their hands on a paper copy.
For more information on the Draft PPP, or to view it & submit your comments digitally, go to fastplanning.us/docs/plans/
