*ONLINE ROAD MAINTENANCE MAP*This map is useful, especially if you want to figure out who to talk to about maintaining shoulders for biking.
Shared from Fairbanks Area Surface Transportation Planning
🔎 Have you seen our new “Who Maintains My Road?” map yet?
You can zoom to your location (make sure your location sharing settings are enabled) and click on the surrounding roads to find out if you’re on a City, State, or Road Service Area (RSA) maintained road (or if you’re on an orphan road without a maintenance authority).
There’s contact information in the pop-up windows with links to each entity’s webpage. If you’re in an RSA, the link for more information takes you to the @fairbanks_north_star_borough tool that allows you to dig even deeper!
