Start time and place: 10am @ Birch Hill Recreation Area (park in lower lot)
Estimated tour time: 5-7 hours (bring lights).
Brief route description: Approx. 15 miles each way (30 total) on snowmachine trails with variable snow conditions to Larae’s Breads, Pies, and Espresso. Some hills in the first/last 3 miles, then mostly flat. Expect 2-3 hours each way plus an hour for coffee and pie/snacks
Estimated skill/fitness level needed: Intermediate difficulty, advanced distance. (Note: All riders need to be a member of the Fairbanks Cycle Club. Full-year and one-day memberships are available online.)
A day-of-the-ride cancel temperature and temperature website: The ride will be canceled if the temperature is 15F below or colder at 8am on the NOAA Fairbanks website.
