FAST Planning’s Bike/Ped Advisory Committee (BPAC) is having a special meeting next Tuesday, March 7, 11:30am-1pm, about “Bike Lane Signing and Striping Pilot Project Concept Recommendations.” The meeting is open to the public.
Here’s a notice for more meeting information: http://notice.alaska.gov/210122
According to FAST Executive Director Jackson Fox:
“The BPAC has been holding joint work sessions with City staff (Engineering and Public Works) on developing concepts for a “Bike Lane Signing and Striping Pilot Project.” This Special Meeting is to wrap up this work to hand over the development concepts to the City as a starting place for their design. FAST Planning is providing the City $100k for design this year, and $500k for striping/signing next summer (2024).
“The link below shows the concepts developed to date. Corey from our office can jump in from here on any additional details…but yes, this meeting is open to the public and anyone from the cycling community is welcome to attend.”
