When: December 03, 2023, start at 10am

Where: Meet at Goldstream Sports

Tour Description: This is a beginner/intermediate ride with most trails being beginner friendly. It will be on mostly flattish trails through the Ester Dome-Goldstream Valley area. It will last 1.5-2 hours. There will be some overlap from last week’s ride, but there will be new trails, too, including the Dunbar Trail.

The ride is free, but you’ll need to be a member of the Fairbanks Cycle Club. One-day memberships are available.

Temperature cut-off: The ride will be canceled if it’s 15 below or colder at 9 a.m. according to Goldstream Creek weather station found on this WEBSITE.

Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are allowed. Note that there will be a little bit of road riding and a couple of road crossings. If you want to bring your dog please consider attaching it to you or your bike. There are a number of products that allow you to bike with your dogs. Bikejoring is popular with many people. For joring equipment, check with local bike stores, Cold Spot Feeds, or Alaska Feed.

If you don’t own your own fatbike, but want to try it out, there are a few places around town that rent fatbikes that we know about. (Not all are open on Sundays, so plan ahead.)
