Google Maps link

Estimated tour time: About 2-3 hours.

Tour Description: An 8-mile loop in Goldstream Valley. There will be some hills, though nothing drastic. At last report, trails were described as a bit bumpy, but rideable and cleared of snow laden brush and trees (though some new stuff might have fallen). There will also likely be some short stretches of slippery overflow. Might be a little tricky without studs, but people can ride/walk the sides of the trail and should be fine.

The ride is free, but you'll need to be a member of the Fairbanks Cycle Club. One-day memberships are available.

Minimum skill level: Advanced beginner

Temperature cut-off: The ride will be canceled if it's 20F below or colder at 9 a.m. according this Goldstream Creek weather station.

Dogs: No dogs please

FATBIKE RENTALS

If you don't own your own fatbike, but want to try it out, there are a few places around town that rent fatbikes that we know about. (Not all are open on Sundays, so plan ahead.)
