This is an exploration of the Goldstream Valley trails probably will involve a big climb up Skyline Ridge. Depends on the group desire and conditions.

When:  Sunday, January 26, at 11am

Where: Meet at the Goldstream Valley pullout on Ballaine Road (just south of Goldstream Creek)

Estimated tour time: About 2-3 hours

Tour Description: Starts in the Goldstream Valley and probably will climb the hill to Skyline Ridge Park and back down before exploring some of the mushing trails on the NE side of Goldstream. Route will depend in part on conditions and group abilities and desires.

The ride is free, but you'll need to be a member of the Fairbanks Cycle Club. Temporary memberships are available. Participants also need to either sign a liability release form or have signed one earlier this year. Download the form and find out more on our insurance page.

Minimum skill level: Intermediate: Can handle short and long climbs, and some possible soft snow.

Temperature cut-off: Ride will be canceled if it is 20F below or colder according to this WEBPAGE (scroll down to "Latest Observation" at 9am on the morning of the ride.

Dogs: No dogs please
