The season is not yet over for the Lazy-ish Sunday Road Ride! This week, two riders took advantage of warm, dry, sunny weather and rode a familiar 29-mile loop up Ballaine Road and back along the Old Steese Highway.
We rode past a roadkill moose (yuck!) on Goldstream Road and on the way back we opted to make a U-turn when we came upon a cow and two calves (very much alive!) standing in the road on our intended route. I didn't want to get any closer so the background in the photo is a little blurry, but if you look closely you may see the moose.
If the weather holds up, and there aren’t too many moose blocking the roads, we plan to do yet another might-be-the-last-road-ride-of-the-season Lazy-ish ride next Sunday.
