The Fairbanks Cycle Club is insured for all its rides. This helps insure the club and riders from medical costs in case of an accident. Our insurance requires that all event participants sign a liability waiver at least once a calendar year for most rides (see notes below for exceptions). For participants younger than 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign (see page 2 of the liability waiver form). To reduce the paperwork at the rides, we have the waivers available online.
Below is a link to our liability waiver form. Please return any signed forms to us. You can do that several ways:
- Sign it electronically, if you have software that allows that. Then email the signed form to the email address below.
- Print it out, sign it, take a photo of the signed copy and email it to the address below.
- Print it out, sign it, and send it by snail mail to the mailing address below.

Thank you!
If you are unsure whether you have signed the form for this year you can check this LIST. (If you note any mistakes on this list, please send an email to the address above.)
Notes:
- Anyone participating in a mountain bike ride must sign a liability waiver form for each ride.
- Fatbike rides on snow are not considered mountain bike rides.
- This insurance does not cover racing. Any races we hold will have separate insurance.
- This insurance does not cover virtual rides, such as our Zwift rides.
- Ride participants are eligible for medical coverage that isn’t covered by their primary insurances. Below is information provided by our insurance company.

Sorry for the hassle and all the legalese on the liability waiver form. We tried to get advice for a better form for our club, but what we got back was a form that was several pages long. We’re still trying to see if we can work with that somehow.
