Our annual meeting is usually held in the later summer or autumn. We try to organize a bike ride before the meeting. Come have fun, socialize, and consider being a board member. We’ll have nominations and elections. It’s an awesome way to build a stronger cycling community!
Once a meeting date is set we’ll send create a Facebook Event on our Facebook page. We’ll also send out notices on our club email.
2023 Annual Meeting info
WHEN: Sunday, August 27
WHERE: Chena River State Recreation Site (not Area); 3530 Geraghty Ave, Fairbanks. This place was closed for a while. It has re-opened as a day-use area and boat ramp only (no overnight camping). It has a nice, covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables.
WHO: Any FCC members and potential members. Please let us know if you’re planning to come to give us a better idea of how many supplies to purchase.
WHAT: We will do an easy social ride before. Picnic and meeting will start after that. Picnic is a potluck affair, but FCC will supply burgers and dogs (including veggie options), buns, condiments, and soft drinks. (This venue does not allow alcohol. Normally we would say BYOB, but unfortunately that’s not allowed.)
