*U AVENUE RR CROSSING SURVEY*Is the University Avenue RR crossing a part of your regular ride? You might want to fill out this survey.
Shared from Fairbanks Area Surface Transportation Planning 🛤️ Public comments for the College Road crossing indicated concerns about safety by both motorists and pedestrians during the FBXings survey period.
🚥 At the crossing where there is a path for pedestrians, there are no signals. The public also noted that a lot of cars speed up at the intersection to avoid being stopped at the crossing. This medium priority project would result in the installment of pedestrian crossing signals and the relocation of signal controls.
✍️ Share your thoughts on this project proposal by taking the mini survey for this crossing at fbxings.com/college-road. Public comment period open until July 9th, 2021.
