*FCC SOS FATBIKE RIDE SET FOR DEC 4*As you are planning your weekend, consider the FCC Sundays on Snow fatbike ride on December 4! This will be a no-drop beginner ride. You will need to have basic biking skills, but this will be a low-key affair. There will be some hills, but nothing radical. Come have some fatbike fun!
We plan to do more of these. They will be a mix of beginner-friendly rides and more advanced ones.

*WHEELS ON ICE BOOK EVENT*An event for the book “Wheels on Ice: Stories of Cycling in Alaska” will be held on December 16.
The event will be a reading and a panel discussion with Interior authors from the book, including Corrine Leistikow, Eric Troyer, Rachael Kvapil. The panel discussion will be moderated by Jessica Cherry and Dermot Cole.
The event will start at 7pm at Bear Gallery on the 3rd floor of the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts building in Pioneer Park.
Come celebrate cycling and maybe pick up a book or two for Christmas presents!

We have been crunching the numbers, and it is finally time to release our Draft FFY 2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for a 30-day public comment period! The TIP is developed to coordinate with our 2045 Metropolitan Plan (MTP), the long-range transportation plan for the Fairbanks and North Pole areas.
