Just in time for the temps to get warm! (NWS is predicting -10F by Sunday!)

When: Sunday, February 4 at 11am

Where: Start at Mushers Hall on Farmer’s Loop

Estimated tour time/distance: About 10 miles, 1.5 hours.

Description: Fun 9.75-mile loop at a moderate pace for new riders. It should take about an hour and a half.

The ride is free, but you’ll need to be a member of the Fairbanks Cycle Club. Two-week memberships are available for $10.

Temperature cut-off: The ride will be canceled if it’s -15 @ 9am according to this weather station (scroll down to “latest observation”).

Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are welcome but they need to be leashed or otherwise attached to the owner’s bike as there might be mushers using these trails.

Leader: Alyssa Enriquez (aenriquezphoto@gmail.com)

If you don’t own your own fatbike, but want to try it out, there are a few places around town that rent fatbikes that we know about. (Not all are open on Sundays, so plan ahead.)

We have other winter rides, and there are others as well. Find out more on our Winter Rides page.
