We had a great FCC Annual Meeting on Saturday!

About 20 people showed up, including the board members.

We started off with a nice potluck. Board members brought some main dishes, while members brought side dishes and desserts.

President Eric Troyer then gave a State of the Club address. Most everything he presented has been included in the Annual Report, which is available on our website (https://tinyurl.com/y2rx9rth).

The current board members all agreed to stay on and no one else has expressed an interest in serving. (We have room for more board members, if you are interested.) New board officers will be decided at the next board meeting, to be held sometime in October or November.

Here is the current board with their current officer positions
--Eric Troyer - President and Treasurer
--Travis Naibert - Vice President
--Garrett Armstrong - Secretary
--Alyssa Enriquez -- Member-at-large
--Geoffrey Orth -- Member-at-large
--Glenn Gambrell - Member-at-large
--Monica Tolley - Member-at-large

After the address, we held the Silly Bike Races. Travis and Garrett were joined by David Withoff. The races were held over a short course and included such things as starting in your most difficult gear, pushing your bike backwards, and riding while holding a pingpong ball on a spoon. All the participants were good sports! There was much laughter and Garrett won most of the races due in large part because he had a one-speed bicycle (which helped greatly with the gear-changing parts of the races).

Finally, we hosted two rides. One paved loop and one hilly mostly gravel ride. Two rode the paved loop and four rode the mostly gravel ride. Both groups said they had great rides!

Before, during, and after the meeting people had discussions about several items, including how to increase membership and offer more activities. While nothing concrete has yet come out of those discussions, we hope to have more things to offer club members. If you have any ideas, please send them to fbx.cycle.club@gmail.com.

Thanks to everyone who came!
